The 5th Annual Festival of Spring was held on Saturday, May 9. It was a beautiful day after a week of rainy weather. Everyone enjoyed the day. It was a great time for family, friends and visitors to our Valley.
There were about 150 vendors, delicious food and live entertainment in our beautiful downtown.
Folks enjoyed the Wine Garden where they sampled wines from fine Virginia Wineries. They also enjoyed the Beer Garden and entertainment provided throughout the downtown.
Many tried their luck with a duck as hundreds of duckies raced down the Hawksbill Creek. Winners received a week's vacation in a condo as well as other prizes awarded!
Children and parents were full of smiles as they participated in all of the fun activities at Inn Lawn Park and the nearby restored Luray Train Depot where they enjoyed model train displays.
This event was for the whole family!! Many visitors spent the day in Luray and we are sure they will want to come back!
