The 6th Annual Festival of Spring was held on Saturday, May 8. It was a beautiful day even if just a bit on the windy side. Everyone enjoyed the day. It was a great time for family, friends and visitors to our Valley.
There were about 140 vendors, delicious food and live entertainment in our beautiful downtown.
Folks enjoyed the Wine Garden where they sampled wines from fine Virginia Wineries. They also enjoyed the Beer Garden at the BB & T Center for Performing Arts and entertainment provided throughout the downtown.
Many tried their luck with a duck as hundreds of duckies raced down the Hawksbill Creek.
Children and parents were full of smiles as they participated in all of the fun activities at Inn Lawn Park and the nearby restored Luray Train Depot where they enjoyed model train displays.
This event was for the whole family!! Many visitors spent the day in Luray and we are sure they will want to come back!
